Skill development is the key to creating sustainable livelihoods and reducing unemployment. Many young people and women from economically weaker sections lack access to quality vocational training, limiting their opportunities for stable employment and financial independence. Through the Skill Training initiative, CERDS equips individuals with practical skills that enhance employability, promote entrepreneurship, and enable them to build a secure future.
Our program offers vocational and skill-based training in various trades, helping unemployed youth develop industry-relevant competencies. Special emphasis is placed on empowering women by providing sewing machines and livelihood support, enabling them to start home-based businesses and become financially independent. We also provide career guidance, personality development, and job placement assistance by connecting trained candidates with local and non-local employers.
By investing in skill development, we help individuals gain confidence, secure dignified employment, increase household income, and contribute positively to their communities. Every trained individual represents a stronger family, a stronger community, and a brighter future.
